I’ve been pretty hesitant to include anything about Robin Williams in this shared space of our newly forming newsletter. The fact that he exists in our culture as a “celebrity” makes me tentative about pronouncing his memory here. But the amount of joy, inspiration, hope, imagination, and the unbridled striving for a true life that I received through his expression .. it can’t compare. I live in gratitude and appreciation for the Life he lived, the gifts he gave, not only to me, but to the whole of our circle here on this pale blue dot.

This month as I was sifting through things, looking for videos to include in our gratitude corner I bumped into this gem of a video. It seemed particularly fitting as this month we also open up the Poetry Circle area.

Since his passing a couple months ago, I have allowed myself to tumble through these deep emotions of gratitude and I have felt an expanded responsibility now that he is no longer dancing on this fair planet of ours. Know that my eyes mist, my heart trembles, and I want to leap up on the table with my hands stretched to the heavens when ever his memory comes to me.
