Hello with Loving Greetings to you, My Dear & Cherished Friends and Companions upon The Path: To say that I’ve thought about you is an understatement. It’s like saying, ” I breath so that I can receive air.”  And as the omnipresent atmosphere invisibly permeates and sustains this world with it’s irresistible life giving force, so you are for me. I have no words which can express my gratitude for your support given in various forms — the caring prayers, your healing thoughts, and your awareness sent forth to hold…read more

The Power of Place

Envision a quiet pond. On a morning so still that the surroundings are reflected perfectly in its surface. Surely there are many names for this state but let’s assign one to it and call it baseline – i.e – everything in the vicinity is relaxed and following its normal routine. A small stone thrown into the water causes an initial splash, followed by concentric rings of disturbance emanating outward, scattering what was a clear reflection on the surface. Notice how any object protruding from the surface of the pond becomes…read more

A Short Report from Holland

Posted by in Community Updates, Holland, Spring 2015 Newsletter

Dear sisters and brothers from the Big Heart Family, As you may know, we got permission to create a place on a ecological campsite in Vorden, in the East of Holland. Actually it is better because the people who live there semi-permanantly are very enthusiastic about our coming. Last weekend we started on the site with a small ceremony to told all the trees and animals that we want to use the place and have to cut the trees to make space for the lodge and space for wood fire…read more

Commitment, Ceremony and Community

Posted by in On Earth, Prayers, Spring 2015 Newsletter

These three ‘C’ words are hopelessly intertwined.  Ya can’t have one without the other. As part of my ongoing commitment to ceremony and community, I made a New Year’s Resolution to do a ceremony with every full moon during 2015.  Part of the reason is to reconnect myself with the natural rhythms of our Earth Mother.  The tides, the animals and the plants all resonate with the cycles of our Grandmother Moon.  I want to bring myself into a deeper alignment with these beings.Thirteen moon cycles to a year.  I have been…read more

Originally, my intention was to be able to put out a monthly newsletter for our community. The winter months grew quite busy for me, and it seems for many others too, so I found myself lacking the free time and “bandwidth” to pull the needed pieces together to get the newsletter out. Now, as spring emerges there’s a refocus to open up the newsletter again, and I’d like to put out a call and invitation for anyone who might feel inclined to assist me in publishing the newsletter. The idea…read more

You Are Wonderful!

A small team of us have been collaborating and working with John to create several video clips of him talking about and sharing his poetry – primarily as a means of helping him get more exposure for his recent self-published poetry collection: Moving To Completion. One of the fun clips were able to extract is John telling us, “you are wonderful!” Ever since I’ve known John, he has always poured out this very loving affirmation to everyone he encounters. John had a minor stroke about a month ago. We are…read more
